Welcome to the Heirs of Olympus website! Heirs of Olympus (HOO) is a table top role-playing campaign setting designed by DT Strain. HOO takes place in a fantasy version of ancient Greece and surrounding areas. It mixes real life history and figures of the ancient world with mythical gods and monsters, in the style of classic stories like The Odyssey and movies like Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans. Works such as the The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Troy and 300 can also be influences.

The first chapter, now subtitled Heirs of Olympus: The Atlantian Curse, was played as a Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting, with some modifications to bring it into an ancient Greek versus a Medieval type world. The next chapter, Heirs of Olympus: Reborn, will use rules similar to the World of Darkness system. The system is called WodLike, and was adapted by DT Strain from the WoD rules.

HOO: Reborn will be a completely new series of adventures and knowledge of the events specific to HOO: Atlantian Curse will not be necessary (nor would characters likely have knowledge of them). While HOO: Atlantian Curse was one long campaign, HOO: Reborn will take a more episodic format of small disconnected adventures. This is designed to make it easier to schedule sessions as possible, and handle different player groups as they are capable of playing.
